作り手に出会い、新しいお茶の愉しみ方を探す飲み比べも実施

（English follows）第4回目を迎えるお茶の祭典「Tea For Peace」が2019年3月16日（土）、17日（日）に国連大学中庭で2日間開催が決定いたしました。会場には全国、世界から100種類以上のお茶が集まります。新たな試みとして「フレーバーマップ」を提案し、その時の気分やそれぞれのお茶の持つキャラクターをベースに新しい方法で一人一人の好みに合うお茶を探すことができます。
茶会や、Common Space、ワークショップでは茶器や茶菓子、様々なコンテンツを通してお茶を体験することができます。恒例の飲み比べでは、オリジナルカップを片手に会場内のお茶を制限なく楽しむことも。日本茶や紅茶、中国茶やハーブ、スパイスティに到るまで、幅広くお茶の時間を提案します。

The fourth event that celebrates tea, “Tea For Peace” will be held over two days on March 16th & 17th, 2019 (Sat & Sun) at the United Nations University. At the event, tea makers, tea producers and tea drinkers will gather with over 100 varieties of tea from all over Japan and the world. This event, Tea For Peace will produce its very own “Flavor Map”. With this map on event day, you can find the perfect tea for any situation, for any person, based on the characteristics of each tea.
You can experience the diversity of tea through tea parties, the “Common Space”, workshops based around tea wares and tea sweets. Join in on the tea tasting with our original tea cup in hand, and sample as many cups as you’d like. Japanese tea, Chinese tea, Herbal tea, and even Spice tea – explore a whole world of tea in these two days.

日本茶、中国茶、紅茶、チャイやハーブティ。
世界中に溢れる「一服する」という文化。
歴史や習慣、様々な要素に揉まれて変化を続けながらも
人々が茶を愛し楽しむことは、これまでもこれからもきっと同じ。まあ、お茶でも飲んで。 遊び方も、楽しみ方も千差万別。

TOPIC1 約100種類のお茶を飲み比べ
台湾で買い付けた、オリジナルマグカップを手に会場内で約100種類のお茶を飲み比べることができます。お茶の作り手や、淹れ手から普段は聞けない話を聞きながら、新しいお茶の楽しみ方を探すことができるかもしれません。

With our original tea cups, delicately made in Taiwan, you can taste over 100 varieties of tea in the event space. Meet tea farmers and tea makers, the faces behind the cup, and discover new ways of enjoying tea.

TOPIC2 茶席で、出会う
会場では2日間、茶会やワークショップが開かれます。
お茶を使った和食、韓国の漢方や、インドのアーユルヴェーダを学んだり、茶席でお茶を楽しんだり。

Discover Tea Parties

Over the two days of the event, we open tea parties and workshops.
Discover Japanese cuisine that uses tea as an ingredient, learn about traditional Korean medicinal tea or Indian Ayurveda, and enjoy tea served in a tea party.

TOPIC3 お茶の時間の、器が揃う
5人の作家やキュレーターが会場に集まり、実際にお茶を淹れながら器を紹介します。
朝起きて、湯を沸かし、お茶を淹れる。新しく、気持ちの良い習慣をはじめたい人へ。

It’s Teatime – Gather Your Tea Wares

Five talented artists and curators get together to prepare you a cup of tea, using their own pieces.
Wake up early in the morning, get the water hot, and pour a cup of tea.
